Videos and Siyyum

Live Siyyum Information:

·         To access the Live Siyyum on November 7^th visit http://www.hashefa.co.il/ - you can start your broadcast at 1:45 PM EST.  (Note: the clocks are changing Saturday night and the 1:45 PM EST accounts for the time change of ‘falling back’ one hour.)

·         If you want to run an internal test to that ensure that you have the right software installed for the live siyyum – run one of the videos from this website – the software will be the same.  The website for the Live Siyyum will be in English.

·         On November 7^th if you have any problems you will need to contact Omer at omer@ontxt.co.il or via phone at +972523842781 – he will be able to assist you.  Unfortunately, Gabriela and Rachel will be unable to assist with any live streaming related issues since we will be in the United States.

The Global Day of Jewish Learning Film was commissioned for the Global Day of Jewish Learning to kick-off Global Day events across the world.  The run time is less than eight minutes.  We are encouraging communities to use it at the begining of your event(s) to help set the stage of the Global Day.

The download process takes less than one hour.  Once you have downloaded it, you should be able to burn it to a DVD.  Please call/e-mail your IT Department for assistance (we are not able to help you with the download process - each computer and network is unique and your on-staff person will be the best person to advise).  We also have the film available in DVD format.  Please email Gabriela if you are interested in receiving a copy and she will email you the details.  Each DVD is $15.

Global Day Promotional Video Trailer [English Only]- In addition to the Global Day video, we have created a Global Day Trailer to assist in promoting your local Global Day events.  The promotional video runs 1:21.  It will take a few minutes to dowload.

Kaddish D'Rabbanan  -  The Kaddish D'rabbanan is recited after everyone has learned a passage of Talmud.  Along with the normal Kaddish that glorifies and magnifies God’s name, there is a special paragraph that acknowledges and blesses the contributions of teachers, students, and those who engage in Torah study “in this place and anywhere else.”
