Live Siyyum Information

Details for the Global Day of Jewish Learning 

Live siyyum from Jerusalem:

• The siyyum will be streamed through http://www.hashefa.co.il/
• It will be aired at 9:00 PM Jerusalem time/2:00 PM EST/11:00 AM PST
• It can be recorded and shown later
• It will be available in Russian, Spanish, English and French

Technology Required:

• You will need a computer, projector, sound system and a screen
• Sound System:Depending on your computer, hall size, etc. - you may be able to put a microphone next to your computer speakers.  Please remember to test your system before the live event on November 7th
• Internet connection: A hardwire is preferred, however a wireless connection will be sufficient
• Projector: It should be measured at 5,000 antisiloments for a larger screen and 3,000 for a small one.  The size of screen depends of the size of the hall.  Determine ahead of time what type of screen would best fit your venue.

If you are unable to join the live broadcast, you have two options:

• Access a pre-recorded siyyum (this will be available on November 2nd)
• Download a recording of the live siyyum within a number of hours after it has occurred
